- Six-month free trial
- Start from the canvas with an email address — no card. The key lasts six months from that day. After that a licence is required. Buying now is optional: you get an unbound key for the term you paid for, useful for air-gapped machines, Team seats, or a purchase order this year.
- What the free licence sends
- An email address and an anonymous installation digest, then the six-digit code we email you — the extension's only network traffic. Never any of your code, Terraform or Bicep.
Details in Privacy & data handling.
- When a licence ends
- Canvases stop opening. Your files are untouched and your .canvas files remain valid — buy a licence and they open again.
- Air-gapped machines
- Licence keys are cryptographically signed and verified offline — activating is a paste, nothing more, and the extension then needs no network at all. Getting the free licence is the one step that does; on an isolated machine, email us for a key instead.
- After you pay
- Your key arrives by email within a minute — paste it with SchematIaC: Enter Licence Key. It runs to the end of the period you paid for, plus a grace window so a late renewal cannot lock you out. Each renewal emails a fresh key to paste. Team buyers also get a private link for handing seats to the rest of the team.
- How payment is handled
- Checkout, cards and invoices are handled by Stripe. We never see or store a card number. Personal and Team renew monthly or yearly; you can cancel from the receipt Stripe emails you, or ask us to.
