How licensing works
What the trial sends
An email address and an anonymous installation digest, then the six-digit code we email you — the extension's only network traffic. Never any Terraform.

When the trial ends
Canvases stop opening. Your files are untouched and your .canvas files remain valid — buy a licence and they open again.
Air-gapped machines
Licence keys are cryptographically signed and verified offline — activating is a paste, nothing more, and the extension then needs no network at all. Starting a trial is the one step that does; on an isolated machine, email us for a key instead.
After you pay
Your key arrives by email within a minute — paste it with SchematIaC: Enter Licence Key. It runs to the end of the period you paid for, plus a grace window so a late renewal cannot lock you out. Each renewal emails a fresh key to paste. Team buyers also get a private link for handing seats to the rest of the team.
How payment is handled
Checkout, cards and invoices are handled by Stripe. We never see or store a card number. Personal and Team renew monthly or yearly; you can cancel from the receipt Stripe emails you, or ask us to.
